Project
Tensions over the drinking water resource and the impact of WWTP discharges in the Garonne are major environmental challenges for the Metropolis of Toulouse.
The Ginestous Garonne golf course is an urban golf project located on the banks of the Garonne. Future headquarters of the Occitania golf league, they wanted to mobilize the purified waters of the Ginestous Garonne resort (Toulouse Metropolis) to irrigate its playing areas.
Toulouse Metropolis with Veolia, operator of the Ginestous-Garonne wastewater treatment plant (950,000 PE), requested ECOFILAE to prepare the authorization request file for the reuse of purified water from the Ginestous-Garonne wastewater treatment plant (Golf and green spaces of the WWTP).
Ecofilae’s actions
- Taking into account regulatory constraints for the irrigation of the Ginestous golf course with purified water;
- Taking into account regulatory constraints for the irrigation of green spaces in the Ginestous-Garonne station with purified water;
- Consultation of administrative authorities for the examination of the authorization file;
- Regulatory soil analyzes on the Ginestous-Garonne WWTP site;
- Writing and editing the authorization file;
- Creation of a subsidy file with the Adour-Garonne Water Agency.
